This was one of those sessions that just all comes together with a certain amount of planning, and a lot of luck + magic thrown in! I photographed this beautiful family last year at their new home in Park City, and they wanted to mix it up and go for a "different" look this year. After doing some location scouting we settled on a beautiful spot at the Great Salt Lake.

Skyler Ordean is a rising star in the snowboarding world, and just an all around cool guy. He's about to graduate from Park City's Winter School, and I had the pleasure of photographing him on a beautiful fall day in the mountains of Deer Valley. He's got great things in his future!

This was my second session with this little family. The first was a maternity session just before Violet was born. They all have such strikingly beautiful eyes...they just jump out at you and make for the most amazing portraits. I love to see the transition from nervous parents-to-be, to capable hands on mom and dad.

This gorgeous family was referred by one of my favorite clients. We did these in early December, right before we got massive amounts of snow. Their house has the most spectacular view of Park City and Deer Valley, and what better way to enjoy it than from the trampoline!!

This beautiful senior has the most amazing red hair! I knew we should wait for the final stages of fall color, when the yellow aspens are at their peak. It couldn't have gone better...we quickly moved through several locations, each shot getting better than the last.

This is the 3rd summer that I've photographed these beautiful sisters. Each session just gets better and better. Their mom is collecting the prints from each year and is going to make them into a book to give each girl when she's grown. I love when other parents are as passionate about documenting childhoods as I am!!

I first photographed Madison when she was 13 years old. She wasn't completely comfortable, but had glimmers of that certain "something" that helps make a good photograph great. Fast forward 4 years and she's a stunningly beautiful high school senior that was a complete natural in front of the camera.

I've always loved twins... I wanted to be one, I wanted to have them, two of my best friends are twins, my husband's mother was a twin, etc. I've just always had a connection to them, and I love photographing them :) These girls kept me on my toes, and their mom and dad were exhausted by the end of the session... but I think they'd agree it was well worth it for these gorgeous memories!
